Wearing appropriate clothing and tennis shoes is very important for your child's safety. Girls should wear pants or shorts, a comfortable shirt, socks, and tennis shoes. The best attire for boys should include pants or shorts, a belt, a shirt, and tennis shoes. Wearing socks will prevent blisters and make their tennis shoes stay cleaner for a longer period of time. The students will be on the floor and on equipment so they will want to be able to move without being concerned or restricted with their attire.
If a student does not have tennis shoes, they will walk for PE instead of doing the activity to assure their safety. If this occurs three times during the marking period, their effort grade will be lowered to an N (not satisfactory) and if there are more infractions, their grade will be a U (unsatisfactory).
